ENTR offers a new way to experience history: by actively participating in the learning material.
Students walk together through 17th-century Amsterdam and discover what citizenship looked like, how people lived, worked, and came together.
School visits can be expanded with our educational programme in our classroom. Students receive an introduction or in-depth assignment beforehand, followed by a reflection session after the VR experience. With this programme, the visit lasts longer than 60 minutes.
The experience connects to themes from the Canon of the Netherlands, enabling students to actively develop insight into citizenship, perspective-taking, and social issues by making their own choices within a 17th-century context.
The VR experience lasts approximately 30 minutes, with a total visit time of around 45 minutes.
For schools, we offer an optional extended programme, including an introduction beforehand and a more in-depth session afterwards in our Learning Lab. This provides students with additional context and reflection on what they experience in VR.
With this programme, the visit lasts over 60 minutes.
